6. Third-Party Integrations
We offer optional integrations with third-party services to enhance your productivity. These integrations require your explicit consent and are only activated when you choose to connect them.
Google Drive Integration
We can only access the files you select in the Google Drive file picker. For those files we access metadata (names, types, sizes, dates) and download file content only when you explicitly import them into matter vaults. We use this data to enable document import for case management, improving app functionality. Data is transmitted via HTTPS, stored securely, and shared only with Google's OAuth infrastructure. Imported files are stored according to our data retention policy (Section 4). Access tokens are retained only as necessary for the integration.
Google Calendar Integration
We access event data (titles, descriptions, times, locations, attendees) to display alongside our built-in calendar and create/modify events when you schedule hearings or meetings. We use this data for unified calendar management, improving app functionality. Data is transmitted via HTTPS and not stored beyond real-time synchronization. Access tokens are retained only as necessary for the integration.
AI Services and Google Limited Use Compliance
We use OpenAI's API with zero-data-retention configurations to provide AI-powered legal assistance. The use of raw or derived user data received from Google Workspace APIs will adhere to the Google User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We do not use, transfer, or sell Google user data to create, train, or improve machine learning or artificial intelligence models. Google user data processed through AI integrations is handled in complete isolation and is never shared with AI service providers for training or secondary purposes.
